Infinity Board - will it help my photographing?

Saw this on a newsletter from Stamp TV and thought I'd give it a try.  Still working on the lighting and what to use as a background but having fun experimenting.  I have moved the light to the side which helped a bit.  Still for $6 for a piece of board, not too bad.
